The historic building's central location provided unparalleled access to vibrant cultural experiences and top-notch dining options mere steps away, such as Mamabahia and Sorriso de Dada. Despite its age, the hotel's air conditioning ensured a comfortable retreat from the tropical heat, while Lucia and her attentive staff offered a warm and welcoming ambiance reminiscent of a home away from home. My mornings were a delight with a hearty breakfast spread of fresh tropical fruits and juices, setting the tone for each day's culinary adventures in the rich gastronomic landscape of Brazil.
